I thought this thread required some positivity, so...

We're unbeaten in five home games against teams in the bottom half of the league.

In those games we've scored eight goals.

Wilson was directly involved in just three of those goals.

Wilson hasn't started in five games this season, we've scored in all five.

A Steve Bruce led Newcastle, minus Wilson, drew at Vicarage Road. We've since improved.

Under Ranieri, Watford have lost 9 of 11 league games.

In those 11 games they've conceded 26 goals.

Watford haven't kept a clean sheet in the league all season.

With our defensive record you have to worry as the likelihood is that we probably need to score 2 or more to get a win

Should be a piece of piss against their defence

All mentality. While the Cambridge game and being out of the cup could turn out to be a blessing, I think we all would be confidently buzzing had we won that game. It was a real gut shot and shakes confidence that these players mentally have what it takes to get the necessary points under pressure. Fingers crossed as usual. HTL.

Praying that the players won't be like rabbits caught in headlights or however the saying goes. An early goal would be good for nerves and then continue to push and not allow them a second  on the ball. Our best bet when it comes to defending.
