ASM is basically a counter attacking player only. Absolutely useless when he is tightly marked. Can’t hold it up, poor touch, can’t pass. This is nervy as fuck. If our owners are serious about us staying up they need to go and drop a lot of money in the next two weeks including a new midfield and a striker who can score some goals. Pedestrian midfield is slowing the build up and squeezing to many players together , resulting in a muddle of a first half for us .Big Jow should have scored but I will be saying that for a long time yet . Tough to give anyone grief, the commitment is there, just some really poor quality players in key positions. Their LB has been good. I'm liking the physicality Wood brings up front.
