gbandit
Thought he had some great moments as usual but also felt like he was the most wasteful with the ball he’d been since Brighton away. I think it was all of the team tonight though, we just seemed to lose our composure a lot on the ball. We were clearly trying to move it quicker than usual but it led to a lot of turnovers
Gallowgate Toon
He does the work of 2 midfielders and takes risks so it happens. He needs more support to bring the best out of him, imo, but he's still class. I think moving Joelinton back to his rightful position will be a big help. Kid Icarus
It felt like he almost single-handedly controlled the midfield tonight tbh.
AJ9
Beautiful man. Already one of my favourite ever NUFC players
Gallowgate Toon
He's got that connection thing with Isak too which is fucking great news for us. Feels like he given Isak more looks in about 30 minutes of play than he ever has with Wilson.

HaydnNUFC
Thought he was fading a bit in the second half in that 10-15 minutes after the Joelinton miss but seemed to perk up once ASM and Isak were on. Whole team did tbh.
Rich
Came alive with some movement ahead of him. He doesn’t get enough from Joelinton and Wilson, although the game did open up a lot once they were behind. He needs players darting about for him like Miggy does.
LionOfGosforth
Playing like a man possessed in most games but getting a little too involved in the niggly side of things lately. Got to love his passion and drive though, what a man
gbandit
He out that lovely through ball on for Murphy on the left and Murphy just stared at it

Great ball though.
Lush Vlad
It might just be because of the ridiculously high bar he has set. But I thought he was below his usual standards. Probably being harsh and expecting too much, mind. As his numbers were good and Ol Don on commentary was constantly praising him. I thought Schar, Pope, Almiron and Trippier were all more deserving of MOTM.
joeyt
His pass to set Isak through at the end was beautiful

jackyboy
Thought Trippier was poor by his own incredibly high standards. Gave the ball away a few times which is not like him. The huge majority of our attacking comes down that right hand side

I'd like him to keep away from the media a bid though; worried that kind of stuff can lead to problems.

I’m with you here. As big @Rich put it, he came alive after ASM and Isak came on, but before that I felt as he was subpar. Lost possession a lot with weak misplaced passes. Very surprised he got motm.
Rich
He played an inverse game to Trippier, who I thought had a cracking first half and a poor second. Bruno was poor, by his own high standards, in the first half but definitely grew into it and improved later on. He seems to need a bit of rattling to produce his best sometimes, think Alcaraz and Lyanco getting into him did us no harm at all. I was somewhat tongue-in-cheek about it being Matteo's fault, but I don't think he's produced a truly world-class performance for some time now. Gallowgate Toon
Think that's a bit harsh. Both of his Leicester performances were top notch, imo.
Gallowgate Toon
Last night, he lost the ball a bit (dodgy pitch) but his defensive work was outrageous, kept & took the ball in lots of high-pressure situations, and played some absolutely fantastic passes (even in the first half). I think we're at the point with him now where we notice more of the bad than the good because he so often makes the right choice.
IzzyIsak
Ultimate centre midfielder, does everything. His defensive work is as good as his attacking play. Edited January 25 by IzzyIsak
