The Futureheads Hounds of Love cover is exceptional and don't think it's a mistake to be talking about it as one of the best ever.

 

More recently, The Fratellis cover of Yes Sir I Can Boogie (despite being bastardised as a Scottish football anthem) is one I'd stick up there in the conversation.

They're a band from the 90s, not sure if they're even still going.

 

They did some really good stuff, John Peel featured them on Radio 1 and they toured America with Green Day but just failed to break through to the big time.

Feels like yesterday I was heading down to Northumbria Uni to see Feeder and Franz Ferdinand.
