See I feel exactly the opposite. One of my least favorite parts of our kits year after year is the crest stands out way too much. I want it to blend in more.

Very nice. If I was being picky I'd have gold trim on both the inner and outer ring, central circle can stay white, castle grey rather than black.

The design is ace. The colours need tweeked. Perhaps a blue or gold outer circle, rather than gold inside but it's close.

I put the 1892 there to fill the gap yeah. Felt the whole crest looked weird without the scroll there.

We have a lot of shit to jam into our crest it seems, seahorses, birds, castles... Maybe the black and white stripes have to go and we can just have a bunch of animals in a castle?

Animal of Newcastle, supposed to be an association with the river and sea.

 

The Civic Centre’s tower has loads of Seahorses figures perched on the top.
