So £55 cheapest ticket for a league match in the Gallowgate? Jesus

£8 rise in a season. I paid £47 for Fulham, £50 for Man Utd and the same for Liverpool. That’s a gentle 15% rise. Silverstone is a fucking cunt and they’ll kill the stadium expansion plan if they carry on like this.

It does seem the two most ambitious teams outside the Breakaway Bandits (us and Villa) are also the two teams with the most brutal year on year ticket price increases. That sweet, sweet PSR protecting the clubs…

Have the Trust made any contact with the club or released a statement regarding these astronomical price rises? Surely this is bread and butter stuff for a Supporters Trust and something they should be all over.

Nothing they've publicised that I've seen, just a "Significant price rises from last season!" on Twitter on a post about the Liverpool pricing. Not had an email or anything from them either

These price increases are astronomical. £72 to sit in the east stand for the Wolves match. What the actual fuck?

I wince at the thought of champions league ticket prices this season. If the league games are anything to go by, it wouldn't surprise me if it'll be around £80 for Leases/Gallowgate and north of £100 for tickets in East/Millburn. Disgusting

It’s all Silverstone can do is milk the fans. The club is being ran as a ghost ship.

PIF need to fire the fucking lot of them and seriously considering the agency they’re using for executive recruitment.

Whilst not wanting to kick a man with serious health problems, Eales and co have been a fucking disaster, made worse by the fact they had the nerve to complain about PCP’s running of club.

These price increases were always going to happen but I'd argue that ST needs massive price hikes as well.

They have received them trust me. Some 63%

Pretty much my feelings on them all. Stealing a living.

Aye, but some were still paying about £15-20 per game until the end of last season ?

They should have been expecting a whopping price rise given what everyone else has to pay

And even with that whopping rise it’d still mean their tickets were substantially cheaper than what members have to pay

Better or worse, we reckon? It’s passed me by.

In theory, neither really.

It should speed the whole process up, which is probably a necessity given the amount of games we’ll have.

You will have to be more on the ball with dates and stuff, as you miss the 24 hr application window and you’re knackered basically.

And obviously they need to make sure they are transparent with allocation numbers and sell out points, otherwise there’ll be endless accusations of ‘corporate taking all the tickets now’.

Actually, one other thing I’ve just realised is that, assuming your application is successful, you get to pick your own seats, which is definitely better.

I also think it means away travel groups are now obsolete. Not sure if that means that you have to have linked accounts with people you want to sit next to, so one person can select all the tickets at the same time (assuming you’ve all been successful)?

Would like the chance of going to an away game

Got to have a season ticket

How do you get a season ticket

It's been impossible for 5 seasons

Oh well

They have brought in (limited) transfers now tbf. So there is at least a legitimate way to attend an away game without owning a ST, even if it does depend on ‘knowing someone’.

Not a peep. The just retweet a load of official stuff from the club.

An utterly pointless organisation.

I suppose they can't just respond from the top without consulting members?

I do suspect they're dominated by ST holders but that might just be my bias.

They could do that then. Nothing about consulting members anywhere I can see though. If they'd announced that then maybe some new members would join in order to voice their dissatisfaction.

They did send an open letter to Eales tbf, who replied with the expected unmitigated bullshit of 'we need to put them up because of PSR'.

Also I find it hard to believe that 50% voted for option 4. Everyone I know who’s voted did not vote for option 4; yet they’re claiming 50% did? It just stinks, dressing up a club decision as fan led one just like they’ve done with ballots and checks.

All that does is fuel constant claims that tickets are being siphoned off elsewhere.

How hard can it be to say ‘our allocation is X’?

Then announce what the cut off was in terms of points it sold out on.

Just setting themselves up to get unnecessary aggravation.
