TBG
Workshop implies there would be tools (and I'm not talking about certain members attending) so the club was worried they'd be used as weapons against members of staff so the event was cancelled iirc

FFS I was just saying like as not one person here had mentioned it before, specifically as this is the "membership thread, and also the trust also haven't mentioned it, I take that to mean it wasn't very well advertised 🤷 Yes, I am a member of the trust, not sure why that matters though I'm obviously wasting my time asking 🤣🤣🤣 🍻 Edited February 10 by patrone

It only took place last night so they will be providing any necessary updates if required but the meeting is for INDIVIDUALS despite what people slagging certain supporter groups and their influence try to lead people to believe No harm in asking but maybe a little unrealistic to find much out at this short notice. The club will still be collating all the different opinions they’ll of received on the night to whatever basic questions posed.

Apologies, I had presumed the "memberships" thread was mainly used by members and as the workshop was aimed at said members I naturally thought this would be the place to ask. I didn't think that was too unrealistic, but if people want to moan and bitch on they could easily have went to the workshop, it was online after all. It would appear very few realised it was on though. No slagging of any supporter groups, but as yet the Trust have made no mention to the workshop, that I am aware of ( have opted out of WhatsApp groups but that's my decision), either before during or after the event, which is unusual, hence I had questioned how widely advertised it was. edit: Just seen the NUSC had representative there, but they've not said how it went Edited February 10 by patrone

The club don’t advertise events any other way than emailing their members. You’re a member. You got an email to invite you to workshop. Job done. Of the few I’ve been to they are classed as safe spaces to allow people to express themselves fully. So no videos, photos or specific discussions outside the meeting itself requested. Then you continue the theme 🤦 I did, initially, only ask if anyone here went to it. One response saying they didn't know it was on. I wasn't looking for a full report with video's and spreadsheets attached Nevermind mate, I can see there's no point in even trying here Cheers 🤣🤣 Edited February 10 by patrone Waffle 🤣
mattypnufc
Shock horror another ballot failure. I do wonder given the lack of tickets available for the Man U game and the continual pushing of this offsite hospitality for the mackems and that game, whether they're 'keeping' more aside for corporate bullshit, and then launch it online nearer the time for us mere scruffs to purchase, if failing to sell. Definitely. There's loads of hospitality been knocking about at daft prices and then typically those tickets disappear in the days before the game. And I have my doubts that if people are paying £3-500 for a ticket they're doing it two days before a match. Tross
That Gaucho off-site hospitality is an absolute fucking rip off. The seat you get in the Leazes is the same as the £55ish tickets. You're paying £700 for a 3 course meal.

Hugely overrated shite. Went in their Richmond one with the missus who wanted her steak medium. 2 attempts from the kitchen and the steak was still showing a pulse and trying to walk off the plate and reconnect with its hide on the seat. Similar story at their Leeds one, where I think they think they can get away with half-arsing things due to the dingy mood lighting.

bobbydazzla
Absolutely fuckloads of tickets available for the Qarabag home leg. L7 standing has 600 available and there's already plenty around the rest of the ground. Can't see many people wanting to pay £70+ to watch a dead rubber. NUFC could get some amazing PR by donating them to local schools, charities etc. Edited February 19 by bobbydazzla
