You can report the seat number of people who attend and either a) do nowt but piss and moan or b) pint on 35 leave on 85.

 

Three strikes and you're gone. Season ticket completely revoked. Or membership completely revoked.

 

Would be thousands more tickets available for every game by the time the leaves were starting to go orange.

I'd love to know what % of our membership accounts are actually owned by genuine punters.

I think there’ll be around 90k memberships sold. Of that % Touts and % duplicates.

My feeling is that there are fuckloads of accounts that don't belong to genuine NUFC fans.

 

The ease of membership access and a sold out stadium most weeks makes it a touts wet dream. Then you've got the neutrals and away fans who sign up just for the chance of getting to a single game.

 

Finger in the wind says maximum 50% genuine fans.

Accounts are different to memberships sold per year. I agree there will be silly numbers of accounts.

By accounts I meant paid up membership accounts. 

 

I didn't mean unpaid supporter accounts. Even my pet dog has a supporter account, he gets ST transfers sent to him he just doesn't pay any annual membership.

 

My guess is that 50% of the accounts that pay their £40 aren't actually regular match going NUFC fans. 

 

We're just far too attractive for touts to resist. Sold out stadium, low cost of membership, no barrier to membership, no priorities or tiering on ticket sales, poor website security systems, tickets can be emailed to anyone yadda yadda yadda.

I've got no idea how many there are, the club won't tell us.

 

But given the size of online 10am queues (even factoring in multi-browsers) and the very low % of ballot successes over a season, I think your number is probably in the right ball park.
