It's likely we'll have to spend and spend big. LIverpool's key pieces in their final puzzle were the world's most expensive defender and the world's most expensive goalkeeper. There’s taking a stance with fees and then there’s ridiculous low balling. It’s great that we seem to only be going for players that will be an upgrade but that comes with a price.
