Missed opportunity not winning on Saturday, would've been 5 points clear with a game in hand with Tottenham still to come to SJP. 6 points are a must from the next two.

I'd agree that 6 points from West Ham and Bournemouth is really needed but more so because the 3 games after that are Liverpool, Brighton and Man City. That's a really tough 3 game run but going into of the back of 2 league wins and a place in the League Cup final should help massively.

That shift you see this season where xG For starts exceeding  xG Against more or less overlaps with ASM’s injury and absence from the starting 11. Just saying.

Isn't it due to the 10 game rolling average dropping the Man City, Spurs and Liverpool games at the end of last season where we were outplayed? The Liverpool one, our most recent defeat at SJP, was 0-1 but they were in complete control.

It flips so violently because we blew Fulham and Brentford away. The early sending off in the Fulham game was a turning point for us this season.

Heard an assessment from a spurs fan earlier. He basically said that it's massive credit to us how quickly we've moved from a side that is scared of the ball to a side that is treat with so much respect, but while Longstaff, Joelinton, Willock and Almiron have done really well, they lack that bit of quality to break more defensive opponents down. Pretty much the consensus amongst ourselves.

Said it before but our league results, W10, D9, L1 (away, last minute goal vs a better team on reputation) is looking more and more like an FM save scummer's wet dream

Even sacking off the FA cup to make sure you could field the same XI in bot League Cup legs without rotation and all players at 100% condition

I think we'll get a clear picture of both of our teams in the next five league games.

We have Palace (H), Leeds (H), Leeds (A), Leicester (H), Brentford (H).

You have West Ham (H), Bournemouth (A), Liverpool (H), Brighton (H), Man City (A).

How many points would you boys expect from those 5?

I'd take 10 points if offered it now.
