The rule that was brought in in 2021 just after our takeover, would still be in place according to Douglas. Have the rest of the media missed this or has Douglas got it wrong? Was the 2021 rule that was brought in about Related Party Transactions and FMV. It has morphed into a more nebulous Associated Party Transaction Rules that give the PL the ability to cast a much wider net. City have assembled a bloody expensive legal team which includes four KC’s all with different areas of expertise to deal with amendments and at the end APT could still be left in place even if they win! Checko
If we and Villa were to buy a player off each other, could we solve both our FFP issues for the year? @brummie who you got for us?
Slim
Could you buy a player each then sell them back for free.

City want APT rules chucked out which is why the likes of Henry Winter are whining as they know it will allow the likes of Newcastle to spend. NE27
This is what happens though, stupid loopholes to get around the stupid rules they're trying to force through. If not this, there will just be another workaround. Clubs willxve employing the best in the business to work out how to circumvent the rules.

I’m not even sure if UEFA rules are over a 3 year period or a 1 year one. It may be Chelsea took advantage because they weren’t in Europe this year, and we could next year. I’m not sure but it’s important to understand the punishments given by Uefa are much less draconian than what the EPL gives out. As I keep mentioning psg lost 600m euro over the last 3 financial years and that’s valuing the dodgy sponserships at full value, and what’s the punishment for these unprecedented losses?
