We then bought our fifth / sixth choice strikers and not surprisingly they didn't blow the league apart.

 

If Wilsons approach is to buy younger / cheaper but with a higher potential return then you can't blame PIF for going with this approach.

If you sell a player for more than you both him, you can’t claim they didn’t justify their fee. Tonali would sell for more than the £55m spent. He’s justified his fee.
