I'd normally think the fact he played on for a bit after the challenge and didn't immediately get stretchered off was a reassuring sign that it was just a twist or something, but Botman played about 5 weeks with a disintegrated knee so fuck knows

unfortunately it's not. When I did my knee, it was obvious. I couldn't put weight on it at all, but it's all too common for people to seem ok at first after tearing their ACL.

Someone on Reddit said that the Arsenal fans boo'd him as he was being stretchered off, that true does anyone know?

Certainly jeering when the stretcher was coming on. But not actively when he was coming off - albeit no applause either.

He could barely walk after he got up - looked very distressed when the Physios were with him.  Not looking good.:(

How delibrate was the challenge ? Seemed very in the ground, I was going fucking mental from level 7.l as soon as it happened. Want to see it again

Yeah it looked quite deliberate from where I sit on L7 too, knocked him out the air and had no chance of winning the ball.

He's been one of our best players this season. Saliba is nasty, knew exactly what he was doing.

Took him out at the knee. It was so fucking blatant from what I remember inside the ground.

Really early obviously and we'll not know until it's been scanned etc. But the fact he got up and continued playing for a few minutes would suggest it's not massively serious. Fully aware it can still be serious and he's able to limp on, I'm trying to be positive. When he went down for the second time he didn't look in absolute agony either, looked pissed off and knew he was coming off but not thumping the ground in pain etc. Fingers crossed for him it's not as bad as we all fear.

Also need Hall to get back asap, it's just one thing after another atm, Hall is gradually introduced again then Tino gets carried off. Just can't seem to catch a break
