I need pictures for my geography coursework, butwhen I copy and paste them intoword i get nowt and when i do it into publisher i get numbers and crap.

How can I get it to work like all the other computers in the world?

Is it something to do with macro's cos I have changed them before and it has worked momentarily...

help is much appreciated.

Rather than copying and pasting them try making a folder somewhere and saving the pics from the internet into there. Then in Word go to 'Insert -> Picture -> From File...'.

tried that, it came up with:

an error occured when inserting image: bla bla...

presumably you are running XP, word, Powerpoint Excel etc?

What "macros" have you changed???

nufc4's method works (using "save as" and saving as .jpg's) UNLESS they have locked the image at the other end - nufc.com do this - you have to find another (equivalent) picture in that case

One thing i've noticed is that the lock comes in right at the end of the script, so providing you do it before the page is 100% loaded, you can nick their images...
