Nah. I know it’s all rumours and BS so it works both ways. But articles have been saying he is on £80-90k a week, haven’t they? Reports that he wanted mega money and it was one of the things that put Arsenal off.

He will be moving for top dollar and a double your money type deal at least, you would have thought?!

I’m not saying that is all it is. As you’re historically one of the biggest clubs in the world. As much as it pains me to

say it, as I despise you cunts and Chemical Jim. But it still doesn’t change the fact that it is laughable to suggest that we’d be offering a more lucrative package than Man U

It’s why I think we’re fucked the minute one of the Sky 6 come in for the same player. Wages, fees, bonuses, status, success…… a functioning transfer team  these all work against us.

A functioning transfer team is new for us too.

Do you put your transfer business down to poor scouting/signings or management of said signings though?

Poor transfer management.

Chasing De Jong all summer then panicking and buying Casemiro for the price we did.

Ten Hag saying he wants Antony and he was available for half the price we paid. We fuck about all summer and end up paying £80m.

Things like that don't help at all.

Reason I ask is because, for me, from an outsider looking in, Man United have signed good, capable players for decent sums and given them decent wages but have had an underpinning attitude issue that rather than being flushed out has been exacerbated and taken advantage of. Which isn't so much a transfer issue but a management issue from the very top down.

I think Ten Hag went some way to eradicating that personally and so has Amorim, and actually think you'll have a better season this year finishing in and around 4th to 10th, but just wouldn't consider Man United's transfer activity a key cause for their downfall.

As for Newcastle, I think we've done very little wrong since the Saudi's came in at a playing level, coaching level or even on transfers but where we seemingly have had issues is behind the scenes at senior levels as a structure is attempted to be implemented and big personalities obviously haven't fit the mould or seen eye to eye. FFP also seems to have us handcuffed somewhat though by comparison owing to recent history.

Maybe he hasn't. Nobody has explicitly said that yet.

Again, curious, do you think it's as nailed on that he's chosen Man United and it's a matter of time as what the Social Media 'Shitters and our paranoid fanbase think? Or do you think it's 50/50?

What's the vibe like amongst you lot? I don't frequent red devil forums. :D

Can't speak for the majority but my 2 older brothers are Man U fans and they are being insufferable pricks about it

And what's worse is that our summer window has been so tragic I have nowt to say in return

They will be all loving Radcliffe now no doubt :smugdog:

Sacks Doreen from the canteen cause they're skint and signs an €80million Slovenian striker.

Shouldn't be allowed that.

Fine line as well between legal and decency, if it is legal spending that much, working within the realms of PSR - sacking canteen staff is just low.

Inconsistent seems to be the word about Sesko so hopefully backfires for Man U as a lot of people thought Newcastle would have been the better move

You know stress is seeping in when people start inquiring as to the potential use of long-dead racial slurs 😂

What is the delay ?

Waiting for Man U to sell or are the Sesko agents trying to stretch this as far as they can go to get a better deal for the player?

Maybe Arsenal were right to walk away

Man United haven't agreed a fee yet.
