and by budget I mean cheap as chips.

 

Don't use it much, the odd text document and the occasional cd/dvd cover.

 

My current Epson c42ux has been a pain in the arse almost from day one. Now it's not printing black at all. Changed the ink, done numerous head cleans, I'm presuming the tubes are blocked up somewhere.

Can't help you there, really.

 

Probably an inkjet of some kind, slow and you need to buy new ink cartridges, which can be expensive.

 

If you only want black and white, scrape together the £50 and get a laser, they're cheaper in the long run. Each £50 cartridge does 1000s of sheets, whereas each £20-£30 ink cartridge only does 100s.

 

That's about all the advice I've got, sorry.

buy an epson r220 asda have em for bout 50 quid,,they r the dogs back wheels!!! and the cartridges are bout 4 pound for the full set,,,foookin bargain!!!!
