We need a thread page jump function like they have, it's incredibly annoying to click through loads of pages like the Hitzfeld one when all you want to do is start on a certain page.

Try clicking "new", or the page number at the bottom of the page.

New doesn't always take you where you want, and the page number is only displayed as 'Pages: [1] 2 3 4 5  ... 31' - slow to get to page 17 for example, especially for those on dial-up.

Pfft, stop being so lazy. All you need to do is get the topic url, for example:

http://www.newcastle-online.com/nufcforum/index.php/topic,14086.0.html

And change the emboldened zero in increments of 20, using the simple forumula; Number = (Page Number Your Looking For * 20) -20.

So page 2 would be 20, page 3 would be 40, page 26 would be... erm... 500. And so on and so forth. It's easy, practical, and it saves phil from having to update our software :tongue3:
