I didn't know Beckham packed that much power in his shots. Robert ain't in the list either but he looked like he kicked harder than Becks

Hirst would have been some player if it wasn't for injuries.

Aye i remember him being on the verge of signing for Man U for 5m not long after Cantona signed.

how can hirst strike it almost with almost 20% more speed than anyone else?

seems incredible, or maybe the measuring equipment isn't all that precise...

That list must be a load of shite....

I dont remember the Hirst goal and I can't find it on YouTube but I can find a volley Beckham scored against Chelsea.....theres no fkn way it was 97 mph....more like 70? The Martins effort is comfortably harder (Altho I think the TV angle makes it look faster than most). Really I reckon most of these measurements must be way off, whatever they use to measure it (I presume theyre just working out off the TV pictures) is not exact enough. Guesswork.

And theres some right bloody woofters on there. It should be full of guys with tree thighs...Batistuta at the swamp?

114, Jesus f****** Christ, surprised it didn't break the bar.

Richie Humphreys can still hit them when he wants to. His goal against Accrington Stanley earlier this season was real top class.

Legend. All the kids at school were Wednesday fans :)

114mph? Fook me!
