Guest Knightrider
Dolphin dying of broken heart Tuesday February 20, 11:30 AM A dolphin appears to be dying of a broken heart after her Italian trainer was murdered. A dolphin appears to be dying of a broken heart after her Italian trainer was murdered. The mammal, called Mary G, was rescued from the sea and nurtured back to health by Tamara Monti, who became her "substitute mother". But 37-year-old Ms Monti was found stabbed to death at her flat in a frenzied attack which her 35-year-old neighbour Alessandro Doto has now confessed to. Since the murder, Mary G has lost 110lbs, refusing her daily diet of milk and squid. She is also failing to respond to medication for an infection. In a desperate bid to help, Ms Monti's fiancé has taken charge of her care but seems to be unable to make a difference. Keepers are now hoping the introduction of an older dolphin called Pele into her aquarium could help ease her pain and encourage her to eat.

In a bid to mend its broken heart, keepers called in noted crystal healer Mr Ruichi Hakamoto in a last ditch effort to rescue the pining dolphin. Having left Mr Hakamoto alone with Mary G for several hours, at the faith healer's request, the keepers were horrified to discover him tucking into large dolphin steaks on their return, cooked on makeshift barbecue. Mr Hakamoto was immediately escorted from the premises. In a verbal statement given over the phone to this agency, Mr Hakamoto commented: "Those keepers are full of shit. Mary G was nearly dead when I got there. She was begging me to pop a harpoon in her ass. What do you expect, I'm Japanese and it's part of my culture. Anyway I only took the steaks for scientific purposes. Have you tried them? They're bloody lovely barbecued with some lemon juice and cracked pepper. Better than great white shark anyday"
