am i the only one to think (and i'm nearing forty) that it was "pick up your stick"?....pick up a step does make more sense.

it's always packed and a good laugh, the away day challenge is always good, as was the bloke who got up and sang ''fergie said to shearer'' before the man u game, just to see the mancs faces  :lol:

That's not what I remember, I remember "pick up a step."  Maybe we were all singing different words. :D

Well i've always sang go pick up the stride.  Ah well, it may be like the blaydon races where people sing two different versions making it sound shite
