Anddddd scene.I'm not coming at this from a Targett hater angle mate just curious where the truth lies between the Ryder comment and the rest of the stuff I've read online that's not exactly in agreement.

Courtesy of Lee Ryder…”Eddie Howe says that Matt Targett has nothing to prove to him after his superb pre-season form has put him on the brink of winning back his first-team place.”
Superb? Really? I've not seen a lot of pre-season minutes, but that's Ryder being Ryder right?

Just watched this lad in Feyenoord's 2-1 win against Benfica, came on at half time when they were 2-0 up. If that's anything to go by he's not afraid to put hard work in, pressed well. Played mostly centrally in attack but drifted wide. Had a couple of moments in possession out wide where he picked out a teammate with a decent pass in the box. His one big moment came in injury time when he was played through on goal between the left back and centre back and slid the ball the wrong side of the post when one-on-one with the keeper.
Having watched Kuol in a few matches last year Minteh looks further along in his development, but I guess the fee reflects that.

Dare I say this but watching this Raphinha lad for Leeds I’m getting Hatem vibes.

I thought I felt old the other day when they said Paul Furlong's son was playing now I'm watching Rory Delap's playing up top for Man City

Can anyone share this article please?
Protip: if you stop the page from loading before the paywall appears, you can read it for free ?
Can't believe that actually just worked

Not through their academy obviously but I'm sure they signed at least one of Vermaelen or Koscielny young-ish?
-
If that's all true, good find, you've actually found an interesting one to watch

I feel stupid asking this but is that really Ashley's helicopter?

It has a little German flag on it going off that picture. Is that where it is going to be heading? Hope not.
Who knows but I can't sleep until I find out

Private jet left Riyadh, heading towards Europe / UK in case anyone fancies watching little planes on a screen for five hours or so.

loki679[/member] OK.... you got me well played sir. I don't know why I can't change my ways but I just love this board so much man and I'm a passionate lad.
I wasn't as bothered about been away when I was full of apathy under Bruce but I wanted to be part of this new era but that doesn't even seem like it's on the cards to me now
And I wouldn't have had to come back if I wasn't forced to. Hopefully I can have a chance to change my ways from been a tedious bellend.
If not we will meet again in the future hopefully post covid and as the richest club in the world and me as a reformed lad
Learn from this: you'll always be a tedious bellend no matter what moniker you come up with so might as well stick with one account.

Fwiw Caulkin said he knows this Paul Smith fella as he "shared a few England trips with him back in the day" in a Twitter reply I saw this morning.
Still, I bet he knows just as much as the rest of us.

I was also on the forum before this, no idea what it was though. Must have shut down late 2004 as there seems to be a lot people users registering around that time.
Was nufc.nu then become HowaytheToon.com then merged with the old Toontastic then become N.O.com before .org once admin wanted nowt to do with the commercialisation of the sport, in between many betting scams, dossiers, golf course brochures and temp invisionboards after illegal fixture lists. Many wars in between that made WW1 and 2 look tame, more history than the last 1,000 years of life on earth.
If anyone wants a trip down forum memory lane I've just found the list of the original gang... https://web.archive.org/web/20010217112441/http://www.nufc.nu/cgi-bin/ikonboard/members.cgi
