  1. Neil Redfearn's Black and White Army?

”NUFC fear Rafa Benitez could let his contact run down and leave the club in crisis.”

    Fuck right off.

    It's all Rafa's fault like....

    Directly from Camp Ashley.

Coverdale ... SunSport .... bloke who broke Sheikh takeover story , SunSport ... just sayin

It was Justin Allen who ran the takeover story

  2. Fucking joke he's getting such hatred. He's a right mid being asked to play left wingback and he's not very good at it, as soon as he switched to right mid second half and was back with yedlin where he feels comfortable, he could have had an assist before being subbed off, he put in a great cross that Dummett got in the way of both Ayoze and Rondon who were waiting to pounce.

I personally don't rate the wingback system, I prefer four at the back, and the last two fixtures when Rafas switched it when it's not working we have looked better in the second halfs when behind.

I can't blame Ritchie too much, and I'm sure prior to the pen miss hed scored our last 7 pens.

I also believe our new lad doesn't look great played on the left. He's a number 10.

Wouldn't be as fussed if Ritchie himself hadn't come out and said it's now his "preferred position" to play left wing back.

Someone else told me this, but was it actually Ritchie himself saying it, or did it come from the media? I'd like to see where he says it himself if he does.

    Update:

    Takeover update

Since Monday's unexpected announcement by Mike Ashley that he was in talks to sell the club and hoped that a deal could be done by the end of 2018, there's been the expected deluge of claims and speculation.

Here's what we've been able to glean ourselves:

The main bid is one spearheaded by the former Chelsea and Manchester United CEO Peter Kenyon and claims of interest from three further groups remain unverified.

That uncertainty is claimed to be due to confidentiality clauses, but there remains a suspicion that claims of other interested parties are exaggerated in order to pressure the main bidder into action.

It's understood that financial consultants working for Kenyon travelled to Tyneside earlier this week and have visited SJP in order as part of their own valuation.

In order for that to happen, the proposed new owners would have had to satisfy specified financial criteria - but not deposit funds in a third party account as was previously claimed.

The £300m asking price that has been bandied around isn't fixed in terms of a one-off payment and a form of down payment could be acceptable, given proof of sufficient funds.

One major obstacle to a speedy takeover is that the formalities required to be undertaken by the Premier League take up to a fortnight - and will take longer at this time of year due to their festive closedown.
