berbatov or two games in a week Adam for captain
I don't have Berba, but I'm going to go with Adam for captain. Two games at home, plus he has the most bonus points out of any FF player so far.
I think Adam will still be a good captain, but I'm glad I ignored my own advice and went with Nani last minute (24 points)
Aye, I went with Adam over Berbatov and got 8 points with one game to go.
Wasn't even sure Nani was playing so didnt want to risk it or him being brought on as a sub for 10 minutes and get 2 points.
I've got Ferdinand in my team too so wasn't happy with him being rested but Hangeland and Dann cheered me up

Editor Comments : As I've said before, I wouldn't want Ireland. He moaned about not being given a free role by Mancini and I hardly think he'd get that in a Stoke team! I just don't see him fitting in the cage. We need a strong, defensive midfielder that can pass and dictate the play. They're very, very hard to come by and don't come cheap but I don't want us to waste more money on a player that doesn't fit into the system. If I was Pulis, I'd make a bid for Cheik Tiote of Newcastle.
If I was Pardew I'd make a bid for Lionel Messi of FC Barcelona

Various: Mike Ashley in talks with Sheikh Khaled bin Zayed Al Nehayan

I didn't know where else to put this...
Bit of a background story here, I've been following the club since 95'. Here in Iceland there arent exactly many Newcastle supporters, most people follow either Liverpool or Man Utd,
But it felt good being different, and having people genuinely surprised that you supported a club that wasn't really considered one of the "top" clubs.
I've been to Newcastle matches in person, spent money on shirts etc. I'm 32 now and I've watched pretty much every game that was broadcasted on tv or on the internet, even listened to radio broadcasts of pre season games...
I guess what I'm trying to say here is that I'm fairly invested in this.
This season however I've not watched a single game.
Mike Ashley has sucked out the passion I have for this football club, going through season after season with no real ambition. I don't think i could imagine a worse owner.
