  1. Excellent, hopefully that means both of us who've applied with over 75 have got them.  How do we find out again?

Well with it dropping, providing you have filled out the form correctly, you can assume you are guaranteed a ticket. There is no way of knowing 100% until the money comes out of bank or an extra loyalty point has been applied to your online account. None of which has happened apart from those who have applied through Thomas Cook.,. They have had there accounts debited, I'm not sure if is NUFC or Thomas cook who has taken the cash though? Maybe someone who has applied via Thomas Cook could clarify this?

  2. would love to know how many applications they had in

Apparently theres 750ish fans with 100 or more points and not all applied but dont know the exact numbers. Either was about 800+ tickets left for other applicants.

Not doubting your info here but can I ask how you know these figures? Hope you are right like, my brother is on 89 points and we had been resigned to the fact he probably wasn't going to get a ticket.

  3. TF editor just tweeted that Thomas Cook have been given 500 of the 1470 for sale outside of loyalties. Find that hard to believe.

I don't find it hard to believe, unfortunately. No doubt they were expecting to get far more tickets and had probably struck up a deal with Thomas Cook incorporating a handsome profit for Mike for doing nowt other than giving away 500 tickets out of 5000 (which nobody would have kicked up too much of a fuss about).

It stinks if true but I wouldn't be surprised at all.

  4. Rough idea of the points that will be needed? 50+?

Usually it starts at about 70 for the mackems iirc and that is with an allocation of 3k. I can honestly see this starting at 90+ maybe more! Let's face it there must be over 1000 fans with over 100 points so they have to try and accommodate these first and fairly! I don't want to see it started at 50 and a mass scramble for tickets - selling out in hours. I also hope they don't retain any for corporate companies etc.. As I know that happens too.

I am confident of a ticket but it's a sickner for lads on points in the 40's etc cos they will be hanging in no mans land at the minute!

  5. I emailed the box office this morning, asking this:

    "Hi There,

I appreciate that a lot of what I am hearing may be rumours etc. However, can you please confirm that the way in which Brugge away will be allocated tickets in the same way as every other match? – I currently have 99 loyalty points so am never concerned of the allocation of a ticket. However, I am hearing (according to the Belgium authorites) Brugge are expecting the possibility of 16,000 supporters arriving in Belgium and there are also rumors going around that people who travel with the official travel club will receive preference over the tickets?

I realise, due to demand, you will no doubt be having hundreds of queries over this match - but if you could just confirm that the normal loyalty point procedure will apply, and maybe an indication of where the loyalty pouint threshold may start, this would set my mind at ease no end as I have already booked transport and accommodation"

I have to give the box office credit where it's due as they replied within an hour, however we are no further forward really - The reply:

    "Good Morning,

Please do not pay attention to any rumours, we have not had our allocation confirmed from Bruges at the moment and as such I cannot confirm exactly how the ticketing will work for that game, however, I would imagine the normal loyalty points system will apply although this cannot be 100% confirmed at the moment.

Please keep checking www.nufc.co.uk for further updates over the next couple of weeks as and when we have them. I would imagine this will be at least a week as we have not yet had details for Maritimo confirmed which obviously takes priority being 5 weeks before.

    Regards

    Box Ofiice"

    :kasper:

I know I'll be alright with my points like but I have a few pals on and around the 20 mark travelling as well so was trying to get an answer for them really.  :undecided:

  6. We also had a better squad to accommodate injuries then though. I know that's our fault now to an extent, but I think it's more a case of protecting players rather than burn out.

Got a mate whos found cheap accommodation and travel to Brugge, but I've never been to an away European game before, how easy are the tickets to acquire? It's not a loyalty points thing is it, because I'll be f***ed.

No no, course it's not a loyalty point thing. you and your random mates will get preference over the people who go all the time ;o)

  7. Just out of interest, when do people reckon he's going to sell, if at all?

I think Golfmag indicated it might in the next year or so.

When he does, I will get absolutely mortal and dance through the streets of Newcastle and up to St.James' Park where I will proceed to jizz myself.

    :spit:

  8. Me, I blame the tossers who cause bother at matches. Alas, the only way to deal with this braindead minority involves measures that impact on those capable of enjoying a match without kicking someone's head in. Those leaping to the troublemakers' defence and spouting it's-all-an-evil-moneygrubbing-plot-by-the-club conspiracy theories are, meanwhile, morons.

    End of.

Totally agree. There are only one set of people to blame here for this reaction - those mongs on the pitch at Darlo...

  9. Anyone want to give me £1350? Only a £5 or so rise for a 3 year ticket then ;D

Really wish i could afford that now :undecided:

Not sure what your credit rating is but if you get a barclaycard premiership credit card you get 0% on all season ticket purchases... That's what I did, pay upfront for the season ticket for 3 years on the credit card and set a monthly standing order up to the credit card...

[glow=red,2,300]We are currently no longer accepting applications for Barclaycard Football Credit Card[/glow]

D'oh! sorry about that, I never actually clicked apply, cos like I say, I already have one..

  11. Can you only renew for the 3 year deal online?

    Nope it's on the form

I really don't see it anywhere. I see the option to renew for 1 year or the 10 year option but nowhere for the 3 year.

Is it not only an option for the people who previously had the 3 year deal? It's as clear as day on my form... but I had previously had a 3 year deal....

  12. Not sure what to do next season, the lad and his grandad go to level 7 while I sit in the strawberry corner (where I've been for 10 years) but could end up just going with him up there as grandad is getting a bit old for the stairs now...

Might give it one more seaon though, see how the old fella copes and see where the ULTRA's end up.

Good on you's for trying to keep the singing section going, just don't bring it down to the strawberry corner though cos there's a good singing section around us there already - and spotty kids with blobs on their heed isn't that amusing to me ;o)

  13. Who's gonna be in charge of this game? Beardsley as previously said or Pardew?

I believe Pardew is in charge, with Beardsley and stone assisting this week, till he brings in his own numptys next week. They said Beardsley was taking control of first team duties (i.e training etc) until the new manager was appointed, which he now has....

Not looking forward to going this afternoon, haven't felt like this since relegation season, hope that's not a sign?!?! :o
