Hi Guys - Does anyone know where I can buy a half and half Newcastle vs. Man Utd scarf from yesterday's match (Not the Carabao final!)? Is it just a case of waiting for them to come on ebay? I'm looking to commemorate my newborn sons first match, and the victory over his mum's team (and our local team)! Thanks in advance, Kieran.

No agreement, plus Milan signed Kaka instead, Honda is meant to be keen on the premiership.
Keisuke Honda has admitted that he is not committed to joining AC Milan in January, when he becomes a free agent.
The Japan international is out of contract at current club CSKA Moscow in December, meaning he can join a club for free in January.
AC Milan held talks over the summer, and appeared firm favourites to seal the 27-year-old's signature come 2014 - but Honda admits that they are not his only option.
"Milan? They are an option, but not the only option. When the time comes, I will make a decision," Honda was quoted as saying on Football Italia when quizzed about his future destination.
"I have now decided I will leave my club at the expiry of the contract."
A host of Premier League clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on the 27 year-old, who scored in Japan's 3-1 friendly win over Ghana on Tuesday night.

Seydou Doumbia linked again, would be a better addition to the squad than Gomis.
We should really be after Keisuke Honda from CSKA too, as he's available on a free in January.
-
Surely we're due a last minute attempted hijack of the Lukaku deal?
-
Maybe I'm just in a bad mood

Should have stuck this 5m onto PEA in January.
Whatever. At least he's better than Shola. That's my criteria for any new striker these days, as depressing as it is.
Better than Shola? I think this guy is better than Cisse almost personally. He's a very hardworking and intelligent player, and £5m for a striker that can play at this level for another 2-3 years is very good I think.
If we sign him I'd be very happy. We still need a winger though to compliment Barfa on the other side and a new CB to compete/replace Saylor.
Give him a year and he'll be as shit as Shola.
-
I can't see how anyone wouldn't be happy with Shola being pushed further down the pecking order. We'd have 3 decent strikers on the books at least and a different plan B for next year instead of seeing that useless tit stroll on after 60 minutes whenever he's available.
I don't think I'm as far along as you in the process of being drained of all hope, ambition and expectation.
West Ham signed Carroll, Norwich get Wolfswinkel, Southampton are apparently after Damiao, Swansea are after Bony, and we're looking at washed up shite like Kone and Bent.
-
Fuck this, he can go to Everton.
A bit of ambition would be nice.
-
Raylor is his replacement .. he'll be like a new signing.

Interesting line on PA News about payday lenders potentially being banned from advertising. Could have major repercussions for Wonga & #NUFC
Good job we've a solid backup:

We'll be adding a red stripe next to that blue one next season then ..

It's growing on me .. they always do.

Two signings away from a top 6 team.
Krul
Debuchy Yanga Colo Santon
Sissoko Cabaye
Ben Arfa Belhanda
Cisse Aubemeyang
Elliot, Taylor, Haidara, Tiote, Gutierrez, Marveaux, Gouffran

Getting bored of all this media sensationalism: pardew and llambias rift, pulling the plug on douglas, carr unrest, cabaye unhappy, ben arfa to be sold, mass exodus of players .. not a single quote or source in sight.

Could do with having some Belgians in the squad, Chadli would be a great shout. Nainggolan, Alderweireld and Lukaku would be nice too!

Newcastle star claims he has 'no intention' of joining AC Milan
Davide Santon's agent has dashed AC Milan's hopes of luring his client away from Newcastle, insisting the full-back has "no intention" of leaving the north-east.
The 22-year-old has continually been linked with a move back to Serie A since his transfer from Inter Milan in the summer of 2011.
Santon has racked up 55 Premier League appearances in two seasons for Alan Pardew's side, and has been trailed by Inter's fierce rivals AC Milan.
Zenit St Petersburg have also shown an interest in the defender, but his representative Claudio Vigorelli is adamant he will stay put this summer.
He told IlVeromilanista.it: "He has recently become a father, his girlfriend is English, and he has no intention to leave England or a championship as fascinating as the Premier League."
Original quote is from here, but Google translate makes a hash of it: http://www.ilveromilanista.it/milan/24-05-2013/esclusiva-ivm-vigorelliastori-santon-e-su-etoo-all-inter-10-di-possibilita.html/

Do we really do formations?
Cisse, get right up top.
Sissy, run from your own box until you can pass it to Cisse.
Everyone else, get back.
It's all about two banks of 4.
-
4-4-2 or 4-3-3, it really depends on who comes in. I believe we'll start next season with a 4-4-2 and I'd have no problem with that, as long as we got a good left winger in.
Who would you have up top with Cisse in a 442? Gouffran? a big man like Carroll? or someone nippy like Aubameyang or Remy?
Would definitely need to bring in real wingers for a 442, not sure it would suit Ben Arfa.
-
Whichever suits our final squad the best.
That's the sort of planning we have at the moment .. none.
We should be signing players to fit a plan, not making a formation based on the players available.
-
I know it's a novel idea at this club, but if you could pick a formation for next season with a view to signing players to fit that formation, what would you like to see us play?
Would have to be a 433 for me, we actually played some beautiful football under Pardew with Cisse, Ba, Benny and I'd love a return to something like that.
-
We dont need a tough tackling anything, you simply aren't allowed to tackle anymore. Get a player in who's comfortable on the ball, and when needed can put his foot in. A Huddlestone type imo.
Lacks required mobility. Nice eye for a pass though.
You mean someone like Anita?
.. Or MYM as DM
-
Seen him mentioned by others before, I'm sure, but I'd be surprised if Cheick Diabate from Bordeaux doesn't feature somewhere on our list of striking targets - particularly if Shola packs in and we look to sign two.
If we're looking to replace Shola with another big man to come off the bench, I reckon we should be in for Anichebe. He's unlikely to be first choice striker at Everton next year, so it'd depend on the new manager, whether he'd trade their bench for ours and whether or not he hates the club because of Nolan.
-
Can't see why you're advocating getting rid of Williamson then complaining about a lack of depth, I don't think there are many better CB's that are happy to be 4th choice, we need decent squad players like Williamson and Perch who are willing to sit on the bench 90% of the season and come in and do a job when needed. We only really need to sign another CB this summer is if we lose Colo.
One center back? I hope you mean as far as spending on defence? If Colo goes we need two Centre backs of the same pedigree.
I think Williamson is OK as a squad player, not 3rd choice but fourth.
I like Perch aswell but only as a defensive midfielder (squad player), he's far too brittle in defence.
Yeah, I meant spending on defence, we definitely need another two attacking players.
Williamson is 4th Choice currently (Colo, Taylor, MYM, Willo). Can't see us needing two CB's if Colo goes, or being capable of attracting anyone near the same quality, but we should be signing a first choice CB like Sakho, or more realistically Douglas.

Nice one - thank you! Fighting the good fight, despite living 2 miles from Old Trafford!
