This might sound stupid, but I wouldn't mind the 8th placed team in the Premier League getting an Europa League spot instead of teams through cup competitions.
9th placed team or cup winners in Europa League?

Background of trouble at Cro - Cze match:
Many people here don't support national team.

and Kubala.Aye, Hagi is ridiculous.

Their owner is easy on sacking managers. He had 27 managers in 30 years at Udinese.Had no idea Watford are thinking about sacking Quique Sanchez Flores. I know they've been pretty poor since Christmas (beat us twice obviously) but he's got them into the cup semis and they've looked safe for ages. All this after a large overhaul of their squad last summer, bringing in numerous nationalities into the squad and its his first job in England. Madness

This one is extremly obscure question:
48 Which Caribbean Island was the first to qualify for a World Cup?Haiti
Trinidad and Tobago
Cuba
Jamaica
I know Cuba participated at 1938 World cup and answered Cuba, but didn't know they qualified automatically.

OK, ok, I see now the mistake, sorry. This is not my first language.Spoke today with Napoli fan about Rafa, his first sentence was: ''He will relegate Newcastle''
Hope you gremmed in his face and set him on fire.
Can't remember properly but he critizied him last year with something about playing with players out of their positions and without natural full backs, something like this. One thing I am sure, he can't wait to see Rafa out of Napoli.
He is He's in Newcastle...via Real. Tell your mate he won them a cup and I hope he never tastes a win again

Summer is the real test IMO.
Of course.
I didn't watch Newcastle's game for few years, I think in fall 2013 was one of my last matches. Watching matches and following this club in detail like before was waste of time for me. But this is probably last chance I will give, and by 1.9. we will be smarter. Delighted with Rafa coming there, but very careful.

League cup or FA cup next year.
Mixed emotions about this.

I read somewhere that (probably in 70s) USSR have four managers, I think Lobanovski was one of them.
-
NoIsn't Swansea a joint manager thing now?
-
Sweden in Euro 2000 (Lagerback and another one who I forget)Inspired by the current situation of uncertainty around the NUFC managerial position (are we having both mcclaren and Rafa?), I was trying to remember the other two examples of co-managership. One of them was Houllier and Evans at Liverpool (pretty sure it was those two) and the other one was Curbishley and at Charlton. Who was as I cant remember.
Also, have their been other examples of joint managership in football?
Red Bull Salzburg few years ago (I think Trappatoni was one)

No, it is based on this: http://www.footballseeding.com/national-ranking-uefa/Just checked, it's based on FIFA ranking at November so will likely be Spain, Germany, Portugal, Belgium, England.

According to local newspaper, Newcastle is interested in this player: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandro_Gotal

needs a wider audience than just this board imo. You first need to guage the actual appetite for this.
Getting someone on board who has helped run a northern league club would be the way to go.
What about elections for place in board? Members of club will vote.

Of course, I just want to translate what they think about him. This comments mean nothing. Can't look too much into those comments to be honest.
Look at tossers like Piers Morgan, calling for Wenger's head every time they lose. Or those Chelsea fans who didn't give Rafa Benitez the time of day when he did a solid job there. Or better still, the fans who wanted Pardew to stay here...
For those two comments about Garde and his style of play, there'll be another two around the same time sympathising with him and supporting him.

I will try to find more.

Translated form Lyon fan (8.12.2013.):
I want Lyon to be in on 5 or 6 place, with Lyon's players this is not problem, but for Garde it is. Lyon play most ugly football in France, now they are 13. with very good team. This few games we won, we were lucky, games we lose are usually without fight, and weakest teams in league 1 often earn points on Gerland. Tactical Lyon is awful, morale and mentality are also awful, there is no figthing spirit. I don't want to talk about players Garde wanted, he brought veterans like Mvuemba and he didn't call them because they are bad. I think he will terminate contract, he is not stupid.
Other Lyon fan (2.9.2013.)
For me Garde is ok, he has more positive then negative sides. His big problem is motivation.
Probably there are gramatical errors, I tried to translate as best sa I can.

Pyro from San Siro today continued, Hajduk players didn't go on pitch against Dinamo in biggiest Croatian derby. Few hour later Hajduk's players were welcomed by around 8000 fans at their stadium.

Another punch for FA in less then a week.
Also expect good text about this in Guardian.
Proud.

Yeah
Not quite, I only support Newcastle
Yeah, im following news day-by-day
Fans disturbance is ongoing problem in Croatian football but it amazes me how it hasn't been dealt with already. Its a really deep issue and it does affect all responsible figures at Croatian FA with huge influence of people like Dinamo Zagreb's owner who is one of the biggest "enemies" to Croatian fans.
First, he is not owner of Dinamo. Dinamo is 'associations of citizens', but their members have no right to vote.
Fans disturbance is last problem in Croatian football, if you can call it disturbance.
This is also good text about this (on Croatian): http://www.nogometplus.net/blogovi/TabId/99/ArtMID/514/ArticleID/1242/Vapaj-nemo%C4%87nih.aspx
I can't describe all this in one post, book will not be enough. Eveybody is talking about consequences, not cause of this.
And I hope punishment will be huge, tackling FA budget.
The other games today 2018/19
