If you see the assist he gets in the vid against wolfsberg, he defo has something IMO...

The vids i have seen of him, do make him seem like a show pony which others on here have said, but at least he will offer something different and exciting for the fans, if he can get regular starts and can improve his end product im sure he will be worth having at the club IMO

This is a major fallacy in some people's thinking. People ridiculed the idea that Obertan was Barnetta's replacement but effectively that's what he is. A cheaper alternative to buying Barnetta. The interest in Barnetta is now dead I guarantee you, no way will we be buying two right wingers who would compete for the same spot. Every time I've seen Obertan it's been on the left wing. I may be missing something though. Hes mainly right footed but can play on either wing, like jonas in that sense...

A reaction from the people who run our club hopefully. When the people that run the club react there is always some kind of hellish disaster that f***s over the fans who really are the club. "Right Mike we need one or two transfers NOW!" "Ok Alan, I hear you. Can you send Joey and Jose in on your way out" it is actually embarassing how we seem to need to off-load players to fund new transfers, our clubs hierachy are real tight b*******!
