  1. This lad still s*** then?

Yes but he's not the worst in his team. I think he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, it could have been any of his team mates.

On the pitch he's working hard, he's just not good.

People expect too much from him.

  2. Khazri to Sunderland - thought he was supposed to be quite good?

Good player, likes to play behind a striker but can play on both sides. Bordeaux are shit, he has done the best he could.

    Good technique and work rate.

Not a big signing but a decent one if they use him properly.

  3. If he goes back to Marseille, it's not for 6 months but 3 and a half months, there's not much games left considering he's not fit.

    Not fit?

He will need some time to get a good physical condition and to play with confidence. I think there's no point to loan him to Marseille, he would be the same once he comes back.

  4. After the match he criticized the playing style of Angers because they defended all the match like they did all this season, he said he can't understand how someone can enjoy playing like this, football is a game, it's all about having fun. They have good players but they don't want to play. This is grave.

Poor kid, this must have reminded him his time under Pardew's management.

  5. Because they are desperate, they have no money to buy a winger, they don't have good scouts, they've got a lot of players who got injured recently and may be they had not planned to recruit a winger, now they have a limited time for that. He was good when he was playing for Bastia and they hope that he will play again at this level.

  6. When he became the manager of Lyon it was right after Claude Puel, this guy was a bit like Pardew for them even if he had good results, they couldn't bear him. He has done a good job at Lyon, he had to deal with a lot of injuries, big players leaving at each transfer window. If Lyon is in the third place of the French League it's thanks to him, his successor only continued his good work.

  7. I know him very well, he's a very good player but he could struggle because of Pardew's managing. He's not that kind of player that could fit easily in any team, like Cabaye. He shows his best when his team play "good football".

He can make the team play better, he can make Remy score a lot of goals, he can help getting a lot more from Ben Arfa, but in a team which tries to play "good football".

To be fair, we have played a lot more football on the deck this season, just maybe not great in oppositions half at times and waste a fair few chances

That's right, the last match for example was good. What I want to mean is if you get this kind of player, you need a good game plan to go with. Sometimes Pardew give me the feeling that he doesn't know what he wants, like he did with Ben Arfa.

But if he wants to build around Grenier in a 4-3-3, or a 4-4-2 with a 10 and two strikers, with technical players, with short passes, I think it's a very good idea to get him. Otherwise Cabella can be a better solution.

  9. I have not confirmed (that I am staying at Lyon. You know very well that in football things happen very quickly. I cannot say anything because I do not know much about these negotiations. Like you, I read the newspapers and I saw my name being associated with Newcastle. But I do not have anymore information on that. The window closes on Friday and we will see then. But as I said, I have lots of objectives I want to achieve with Lyon and I hope to achieve my objective if making the World Cup too.

He also said "Sometimes you dont have your fate in your hands".

If Lyon receives a good offer, I think he could be pushed to move.
