Liverpool, Brentford and Burnley, so 3 out of first 4, then nowt since, never bothered applying for last couple.

Before I start I am no longer a season ticket holder. I gave mine up after SBR's 1st season and I'm over the moon to get a ticket through my membership. I did however go to almost every game from about 76/77 until then. Can I just say that people moaning about 'old cunts' attending the match that if it wasn't for them going in the pissing down rain in the old Gallowgate with no roof when we were 2nd division cannon fodder with gates of less than 16000 that they would probably have no team to support/

For me it will always be a trophy, I  was alive when we won the Fairs Cup, but have no memory of it. Started going in the early 70s, was a regular or season ticket holder until Sir Bobbys second season, a bit more of an occasional attendee since. But being oldish I just want to see a captain of NUFC with a trophy in his hand before I can't.

 

Strange to think that Man Utd and Spurs supporters will be hoping we win so England can get a fifth Champions League place.

Was a canny fullback at school, in the days when your job was to kick the tricky winger within about 30 seconds. Unfortunately the lad who played right back was a cracking player so I always got stuck at left back and not having the ability to kick the ball more than 5 yards with my left foot all I could do was kick it out of play. 

I did however get goal of the season with my only ever goal, I won the ball and started running up the field ( the rest of the team stopped, cause it was me). I got about 30 Yards from goal ran out of steam and hit the ball as hard as i could, mishit it and managed to chip it over the keeper into the top corner.

I bought a OFI top when I was in Crete from a ' Specialist market stall', signed by the full squad the season they won the league. It wasn't until about 5 years later that I found out they had never won the league, It wasn't their badge and they didn't play in green. 

I remember when I was about 10 years old, in about 1973,  I had a hand me down Wolves top from late 50's early 60's which had short sleeves (unheard of at the time) and everyone at school was so jealous, I also had a Dusseldorf and Krefeld top as my brother was in the Army based there.

Ah the Asics kit, loved it and it is the only home kit that I ever bought, the only other one I had was one my Dad bought for me in the mid 70's, it had the 'new' badge on it 75/76 or 76/77 ?

I got my season ticket after being locked out vs Grimsby and gave it up after SBR left (mainly due to financial reasons) , have only been back on about a couple of dozen times since, when given a free ticket, each time I've been, we've been that shite that I wished I hadn't bothered. I still miss going tho' and wish I could still get exited about them, one day hopefully.

My favourite player along with Abeid that didn't make it here , good luck to the lad, seems he's due some.

Think he should go all out for a cup ,rest players in league games .Imagine if he got us into Europe and relegated in the same season .would stick it right up Ashley.

 

We will be playing Spurs reserves or a team made up of half fit players so 0-0 or maybe a flukey 1-0 win or maybe a devastating 5-0 defeat , I honestly can't call this and the way things are at the moment ,I really couldn't give a shit .

Regarding protests how about everyone take a bin liner to the ground and when Spurs score their 1st goal everyone covers the nearest S.D sign with them. Then they can't get you for defacing them.
