Rafa was great, a tiny glimmer of hope in a giant pot of piss. A little defensive but worked wonders most the time he was here.
Cant knock the bloke. But happier with Howe and the way he plays, less politics too. Onwards and upwards!
Also cant underestimate the role Rafa had in bringing the new owners to the table, if the tales are true.

Genuinely, whats the big deal with Gallagher? I've never been that impressed...
I get the Madison shouts, I get the Rice shouts, I even liked Phillips at Leeds, but Gallagher's done nowt to warrant the England calls he's had.
If anything it highlights the fact Willock and Longstaff should be knocking on the door for England, if his performances for Chelsea are the bench mark.
If we get top 4 we should break the fucking bank for Bellingham. (said partly tongue in cheek)
or go abroad.

Canny video on our Midfield. Gallagher can also evade selection. I don't see what he's done that's so good, plus I doubt he's come up north.
I'd keep Longstaff where he is and get a DM to play/cover/evolve our shape. But to your own point Bruno is killing it in this deeper role.

I've always been a fan of Longstaff but if we were to sell him and it wasn't to be Bruno to pick up his role, then I think someone like Gallagher would be a really good option in that number 8 role.
I'd rather Longstaff over Gallagher personally. Maybe I'm the mad one here. We're Top 3 he's as close to an ever present in that achievement... What I'm I missing? If Longstaff adds Goals, which I think he will, theres not much more he can do. He's bossing midfield and sometimes the combination of players and how they play in unity is more important than just playing 'names'. I'm not sure what more some of these lads can do, to stop being suggested as cannon fodder!

All the credit needs to go to Howe. Lots of fucking hard graft apart from everything else.
6am starts and 12 hour shifts to get it right. Cultivating a team spirit and building a Squad of payers where they are all valued and equal.
No egos, No Drama Queens. Not to mention playing pretty impressive, attacking, good on the eye football, while climbing to 3rd!
3rd with Longstaff, Burn, Murphy, Willock, Miggy and Schar.
I do feel a few on here are still too quick to hammer Burn, Longstaff or Murphy, yes they need replacing and I'm sure Howe will eventually phase them all into great squad players, but fucking hell!
We're 3rd!, there are only two teams better in England. So the above aforementioned players aren't doing too bad, surely!
Give them a break and let's enjoy the journey!
What a time to be a NUFC Fan!

This lad's spot on, as usual.

I'm an 8.
A 9 if we win the next 2.
Just keeping doing what we do. Keep clean sheets and we're in great form again going forward.
Some team soon is gonna get a spanking also....

Absolute Domination for 90. Brilliant! Love this club, these players and our Manager!
What a feeling and it's only 10:30am!
Off to walk round Oregon in my Barcode top.

Very very good performance and some lovely play. In the most part we have dominated. Pace and power but lack a bit of calmness when finishing.
I hate these fuckers so much I'm more nervous than I should be.

Howay the fucking lads! Just waking up to watch from the west coast.
Little surprised by the Big Joe omission but it's fair. Nice to see some options on the bench.
I'll take Botman chipping De Gea for a 5th.
Enjoy all! Fingers Crossed. 2-1

OAC - No thanks!

The biggest positive from today, aside from the win, was how well Willock, ASM and Isak linked up together. Exactly the kind of interchanges and attacking patterns that had been missing from our play after the restart, and a timely reminder of just how valuable Willock can be in transition. Would like to see us find a way to accommodate all three in the first XI going forward
Just got in from the game! this post is on the money! so much pace power and skill on the break today. throw a Diaby in for Murphy and you're cooking.

2-1 win! Isaak & Bruno with the goals...

ASM has to start. Not his number one fan but I'd start him after yesterday. I'd actually just let him do what the fuck he wants and cause havoc. Him and Isak team up well, be interesting to see them with Bruno pulling the strings.

I still love this man! I hope he comes back on Sunday a legend! We talk about Sir Bobby and how he was a gent, we're lucky to have this guy. It's still just over a year since he rocked up and fell into a steaming turd. Now we're off to a final.

Top Drawer Left Back, DM, Winger/Wide Forward and a Goal Machine.
Then a few younger players to learn and fill out the Squad.
If we get Europe, we're gonna need a squad...
Pope
Trippier
New LB
Botman
Schar
New DM/Bruno
Joelinton/Willock
Bruno/Longstaff
Isak/ASM
New CF/Isak/Wilson
New Winger/Gordon/Miggy
Saying that I'd go...
Tierney
Alvarez/Sergej Milinković-Savić
Maddison/Diaby
Vlahovic
200m should do it....

Been the best team! Think we've been great post all the frustration and fuck ups in the first 20'.

Both Shelvey and Wood are good deals
I don’t think Anderson was to blame for both goals. The first goal was Trippiers fault for not holding the line. The second goal, may be, if you think Salah shouldn’t have any chance to have a touch on the ball. I would put more blame on Trippier again, or Schar for not spotting Gakpos run.
The lads did put in some effort but the form is dipping, obviously. Probably the pressure and fatigue finally caught the playersWhat's this!? factual critique....I blame Burn, Longstaff, Anderson! any fucker from Newcastle.
3 lapses in concentration, 1 massive one. Other than that we've been equal, playing half the half with 10.
The amount of entitled wet farts on here is growing by the week! Scapegoating any fucker!
-
ffs what is going on!
-
Nothing to do with Anderson starting. It's the defence not watching runners or fucking talking. Let's not scapegoat Anderson ffs!

Elliot needs to be at his very best to be average premier league player standard.
This kinda comment is comical...how do you get that exactly?
He's just at the beginning of his career. Did you think the same when Kane was being loaned out to various teams in the championship?

This. I'd rather a younger dynamic DM with some recovery pace.
Madison is another story as he's far higher up the pitch, would be great to have an option of someone who can shoot from 30yards, like him.
Pulls deep defences out and opens up the space in behind also.
