Billy should be starting over Willock now, he’s always showing for the ball, he’s hungry as fuck. He’s shown quality in the air and in link-up play and he’s a goal threat. He’s played his way into the team
Agree with this. Willock is average at best. Love how this lad always wants the ball.

Just catching up on this! Fucking hell! Some singing.
I for one look forward to just enjoying the lad develop and watch him link up with the other talent we're building up.
Looks to have some pace, amazing feet and a hell of a strike!
Excited for this one What a change we're witnessing at the club.

All players make errors. It's part of the game.
I didn't see any clangers today against arguably the best team in Europe.
Excited to see him grow into the role.

If we get this lad. I personally think he will be first class. Once he gets that Brazilian Geordie energy he'll be banging them in.
If we were buying the kid straight from Fluminese with his undoubted ability and technical flair, we'd all be knocking one out.
Give the lad a few months, his talent alongside better players and with Eddies coaching, he's gonna tear it up.

Beautiful stuff. Should be 3-4 up. Big Joe man!

For all Miggy's faults he puts ASM to shame. Guy's not arsed, throwing his arms around and making half arsed attempts to close his man.
He's the weak link in this team - It's getting dull now.

8th right now. Couple of Bruno level additions up top and I'd say 5th/6th.

Love this man! He has every single player giving 110% for the shirt, the effort, commitment and workmate is amazing to see.
Not to mention the shape and turn around in certain players is frightening.
Hope he's here and successful for a very long time - class act!

Chris Wood, man! I tried to support hi, but fucking hell , he's turbo shit.
I'd rather do a raffle and start a random fan every game than him. Might be more entertaining too!

Just watched some clips of this lad that we're linked to, Kamaldeen Sulemana.
Super exciting, young, rapid and technical. Also the amount of times he presses the ball and wins it back is exactly how Howe has us set up.
Something Maxi refuses to do also.
I'd rather we spend 25-30m on him than some of the fees being banded around for Harrison and the like.
Would love us to add some genuine pace out wide to scare the shit out of the opposition.

Not much new from watching that. Solid back line, decent in the middle, minus an attacking playmaker. Wings are piss poor. Minus Wilson, we're championship up top.
Need a Young, Pacy CF, Right winger who can play football with end product. Midfielder who can unlock a defence.
Paqueta, Diaby and Dennis would do.
Side note. Anderson should be in the squad and Murphy and Almiron should be left in Austria.

To be honest, I’m just as excited to see if Elliott Anderson will be involved, is he the real deal etc.. if he gets the backup position to ASM then great, he’ll get game time.
I think the best position we can fill is right midfield, not forward.. for value at least, if we’re more dominant in the middle, the less tracking back the likes of Fraser or Miggy would have to do so we might see more from them going forward. Or that’s the theory anyway, give them till January and then upgrade if it’s not working.
I'm here... Striker on Loan - someone good enough to cover Wilson with Pace and Power. Dennis would do.
Winger - Sarr would be a decent buy if we can't get Diaby. Then spunk the rest on Bruno's best mate and watch the beautiful Brazilians turn on the samba football.
I'd Start:
Pope
Trippier
Target
Botman
Schar
Joe
Bruno
Paqueta
Maxi
Sarr
Wilson
That with Eddie at the reign and some luck with injury would get us top 8. Elliot / Fraser / Miggy to Cover wings, Wood & Dennis to cover Wilson, Shelvey, Longstaff to cover the middle. Let's go! It's Phase 1.

As sexy as that looks, I don't think Joelinton would work in a double pivot.
What makes you think that, just out of curiosity? He tends to win most of his duals on the edge of his own box...

Did ok, but is quite one dimensional. Not quite great at anything but covering ground, slowly...
Gave away the ball a fair bit today with some sloppy long ball attempts 6/10.
