Mr Logic
I'm still gutted Patrick Kluivert never worked out.
Mr Logic
It wouldn't fucking kill some people on here to admit they were ever wrong (mentioning no names of course). Be amusing to see a poll along those lines see if sufficient votes caused a personal reassessment.

Baggio
I thought Joey Barton could be our Roy Keane in midfield, he's played more like Roy Cropper.

S.S.R.
Despite his faults, I still think Allardyce is a decent manager and with proper backing would have turned us into a decent side.
Wullie
I thought Allardyce was the one for the job, I thought Owen was finished a month ago, I said we'd get twatted off Spurs. There's three for a kick off.
Tooj
I remember you saying Duff was a quality signing as well.
Guest sicko2ndbest
I thought Duff had turned the corner after Stoke (H) I thought Big Sam would turn us into a top 4 side Thought we would spend big in January Thought Mourinho would be next manager\

Cronky
In recent times, I couldn't see Viduka, Martins and Owen working as a combination. I'm still not sure in the long-term, but it's certainly arrested the slide and got us moving in the right direction again. I thought Dalglish and Gullit would be good appointments, and Sir Bobby a bad one.
Guest Stephen927
I thought Smith would be a brilliant signing. Was gutted about Parker going. Was going to get Parker 17 printed on my Toon shirt. I think Steven Taylor will be quality. I thought Boumsong would turn good.
Shearergol
I thought Luque was going to be superb for us. I thought that moving on from Bobby Robson was the best thing for the club (despite how much I love the guy). I thought Keegan would get us relegated. I thought Paul Kitson was brilliant
Nobody
I thought that moving on from Bobby Robson was the best thing for the club (despite how much I love the guy). Me too, and I still think it was. Though he shouldn't have been replaced with the Sottish wanker.

I suppose the mistake was the replacement, which I said from the start was an awful move (hardly difficult to predict ). I feel vindicated then. Gejon and I thought Faye would make a good signing (the Faye)
Liam Liam Liam O
Not Newcastle related but i got this one pretty much spot on ......i dont think torres will be as successful as everyone thinks ............
Cajun
My confession post would end up longer than a HTT special if I listed everything so will just go with the highlights. I thought Parker would be or Gerrard. I thought Faye (Amady) was going to be a quality signing. I though Allardyce was exactly what we needed. Edit: Just saw Gol's post

gazza ladra
I argued that Souness, Roeder, and Allardyce needed to be given time. Some people never learn. P.S. Keegan needs to be given time.
