And who's going to keep goal for Pompey now? Niemi? Ashdown?

David James?

They can't afford to play him, right? I read somewhere they would trigger a clause in his contract if he played more games.

Segun Oluwaniyi

Adam Johnson wants to speak to Man City, SSN now.

They must be giving him mega-wages or something. That is a terrible move.

Be a good move for him if he gets a decent share of games. Will be a very good player in a couple of years i reckon. England material.

Dunno why Spurs got Gudjohnsen, he's awful now.

yep.. I haven't seen a lot of him but he seems a carbon copy of Alan Smith now. Static, drops deep and passes the ball backwards all the time and of course the bleached f***ing hair..

He's nothing like Smith, but he's an average player at best these days and wont get many goals.

Was on Guardian website I think it was. If he plays 20+ games Pompey must offer him an one year extension and that would be another £2m in wages if I'm not mistaken

I actually reversed the joke the other day....

Friend: "Bruce Willis has a new movie? But he's finished!"

Me: "He's not finnish! He's American!"

With Robhino back in Brazil along with Fred, Adriano & Ronaldo. I cant remember Brazilian football having so many players who European clubs would like playing in domestic Brazilian football.
