Wilshere to Bolton on loan.

We could use with a manager like Coyle.  Really knows how to get a flowing football squad together.

Wilshere to Bolton on loan.

After the Burnley-Arsenal game, didn't Coyle walk up to Wenger and asked if he could loan Wilshere to Burnley in a more funny manor? His mission of destroying and undermining Burnley has now commenced

Indeed.

I think Bolton actually have looked quite good under him.

A little unlucky getting Arsenal on a double though...

Staggering number of Scottish/ex-SPL players in or coming to the Championship.

The number would probably half if Strachan wasn't in charge at Boro

It would be less of an upheaval to move the Middlesbrough season ticket holders up to Glasgow than for Strachan to move all these Celtic players down here.

I feel like there's something behind McCarthy thing, seems like he plays well when he gets in. Maybe he just doesn't train hard or something.

Village Idiot

According to an RCD Espanyol board member, Nakamura is "not interested" in a move to Boro.

EDIT: Actually, the player's also quoted saying that he wants to stay.

SUNDERLAND MAKE SHOCK MOVE FOR KEANE

PURS will sell Robbie Keane to Sunderland for £9million.

Keane only returned to Spurs from Liverpool 12 months ago but manager Harry Redknapp has wanted to sell him since last summer and has accepted the Black Cats' offer.

Black Cats boss Steve Bruce made his offer on Friday and saw it accepted after Spurs completed a deal to bring in Eidur Gudjohnsen on loan from Monaco.

The Tottenham boss claimed earlier in the transfer window that he was not ready to let his captain leave White Hart Lane but changed his mind after signing Gudjohnsen from under the noses of rivals West Ham.

Keane, 29, has been strongly linked with a move to Celtic this month and the SPL club's largest shareholder Dermot Desmond was prepared to fund a large chunk of the Republic of Ireland international's £80,000-a-week wages.

The proposed move didn't happen because Spurs were not confident of finding the replacement they would need in their effort to break into the top four.

The former Liverpool and Inter Milan striker is expected to become the sixth former Spurs player to join Sunderland in recent seasons after Darren Bent, Steed Malbranque, Teemu Tainio, Pascal Chimbonda, and Marton Fulop.
