Other clubs' transfers

Really rate Ireland as a player, think he'd be a cracking signing for any club in the prem, including citeh.

Yeah, love him as a player. Slightly underrated I think. He'd be a star at a club like Villa.

Not sure there's anything under-rated about Ireland. The season under Sven it was widely acknowledged he was City's best players by fans and press alike.

Well, last season then. Hardly heard his name mentioned.

Well, yeah, that's sort of my point. No-one made a big deal of him being injured really. Kind of forgot he existed.

Edit: and yes, the guy is totally bonkers.

Didn't really pull up many trees last season though did he? Thought he was injured/left out?

he seemed to work very well under hughes but mancini just didn't seem to rate him so left him out

He's a good player but only really had one very good season. Just a run-of-the-mill Premier League midfielder imo. Over-rated if anything based on that one year.

If anything, Ireland is overrated. I haven't seen him do much to warrant the praise he gets. Big year for him.

Citeh fan at work reckons he has one good season out of the last 4. Couldnt get a game under Hughes and Bobby Manc.

You've got Sandro aswell.

From what I've seen of him playing for Inter in the Copa Libertadores I think Sandro will quickly become a fixture ahead of either Huddlestone or Palacios.  Inter won the first leg of the Final 2-1, think they'll win it and Sandro comes over a couple of days after that.

Scotland signs for Ipswich. Amazed strachan didn't go for him.

Good signing for them. They are also in talks with Ross Mcormack from Cardiff.

They're playing both legs at home so they'll have to fuck it up royally if they're not to win it.
