SteveMc Posted May 9, 2008 Share Posted May 9, 2008 I think he'd make a decent defender in a lower level premiership team given a run of games. it wasn't all West ham and Birmingham with him you know. He was pretty solid at times but was all too often played out of position and rushed back from injury. A good solid defender in my view, just not quite up to the standard of a top team. He was 'absolute rubbish' at times but at others, such as when he was being played at right back and left back by souness/ Roeder, we was solid and obdurate.
