Never dynamic enough to play LW or physical enough to play CM, but in a 4-3-3 or a packed midfield the lad would have eventually been a real quality PL player. Another victim of Souness, sadly. Actually, if Birmingham got to the Final and lost to City, Arsenal or Man Utd, would that mean a Europa League spot would drop to 7th again since the Europa League spot would no longer go to the FA Cup?
