Cheick Tioté (1986–2017)

Recommended Posts

was rubbish today. either tried to take on 5 men or passed it a yard or two in the wrong place most of the game

He was poor today and I would have taken him off when Lovenkrands went off because I thiught he'd pick up a second booking.  The movement around and in front of him was really bad which didn't help him.

He looks a great player when up against good teams, if that makes any sense.

Too often against mediocre opposition he seems to be far less influential.

I'm loving the tat the company comes out with for club shops. They really know their target audience!

So is he definitely on the way out this summer? Or was that just Keegan speculating out of bitterness towards Ashley's regime? ???

He also said Tiote nearly left in january, which I don't think was even possible because of him only being here half a season.

Bitterness for me.

For the right price he is. I can see clubs like Tottenham, Liverpool and Chelsea bidding for him.

We really need him to stay.

I wonder how much is a bid 'too good to turn down'?

Are there any of our half decent players we aren't doing this with?
