He was Pardewed. You would think that the one player that couldn't really be Pardewed would be a hard working defensive midfielder. But alas, Pardew found a way to try and make him into something he isn't and fucked him up in the process. Based on the second half, that is as well as he's played for us in years, possibly since his debut away at Everton. But he only seems to turn up for games against the big boys, or his style just suits those games. The fact that he is AWOL for most of the season and then when he does play, looks overweight, uninterested and s***. If he plays like that for the rest of the season.
