Schalke, Twente game has been good. Douglas for Twente is having, a good game looks very comfortable with ball at his feet.

Still 1-1? Lush goal from Twente earlier. Definition of a flowing counter attack.

Unbelievable

So erm, with all the English teams bottling it, what are the chances England will lose a CL or Europe League place in the next few years..?

Yeah it was a nicely worked goal from Twente. Since Schalke scored though , the game as a whole has improved a lot.

If he couldn't strike the ball so well with his left foot Kolarov would be a League One calibre footballer.

Yeah, if he wasn't any good at kicking a football he wouldn't be very good at football.

When was the last time there was no further English interest in any European competition this early on?

I mean his only redeeming quality is his delivery from set pieces and crosses, otherwise he's a defender but a complete non-entity defensively. Rarely makes any tackles and his positioning is woeful.
