NUFC transfer rumours in the press

Recommended Posts

I had a feeling yesterday that when I woke up this morning and got into work (it's currently 6.40am my time) something exciting would be happening, but by the looks of things I was way off then :(

It's just a horrible circle. The less players we sign, the more excuses Pardew will have and he'll cling to his job for even longer.

He might have to start "promoting" our players in the press again very soon  :hmm:

I can't wait to f***ing hear the dreaded "we'll go with what we've got" from Pardew.

Well I heard they have been doing all they can, left no stone unturned but just couldn't get their targets over the line. Fortunately the squad has enough quality to see us through :p

Mike should be applauded for spending (Chelsea's) money to strengthen our defence.

You what?

Debuchy = Ba. One in, one out etc  :sigh:

"We're looking forward to seeing some new faces on the pitch in the next few games"

"Whether that's from the treatment room or a new signing isn't relevant - we need senior players out there."

Not sure if this has been mentioned or not:

Sky Sports understands that Madjid Bougherra could be set for a return to England.

How long until we're linked again?

'Not signing anyone has been like a new signing as it has given the lads increased confidence apart from the lad we did sign who wishes he hadn't, he needs a confidence boost and I'm confident that the confidence gained from no signings will help the senior players like Shola in that..... undoubtedly'

He was immense for Rangers, albeit in a poor league. I'd sign him, though at this moment that would apply for most professional footballers.

Remember the last centre half we bought that looked great at Rangers?

 I think Bougherra would do better in the Premier League, considering it's difficult to be worse. He wouldn't be bad as a backup centre half though and would surely be a better option than Williamson or playing Perch at centre half.
