Paid to read the flight of a ball that is impossible to read?

It begins to be veering slightly left of centre then takes a sudden deviation to his right, you cannot read it, you can only react to it.

For the rest of the season, whenever Newcastle score twice in a game, Papa John's will send fans an offer code to receive 50 per cent off pizzas - which can be ordered from any store in the UK.

:yao: Nee fucking chance then. They've played it well.

Just reading the 'On this day in history' part of .com and noticed this comment after our game against Heerenveen

Coach Gertjan Verbeek said:

About Shearer and his retirement plans:

"If he wants to play on a lower level, he can come to Heerenveen,. He does not have to train so much - we will spare him for the games. He's a great player and very important for Newcastle still. At his age, it is fantastic."

Should have swapped him for Huntelaar  :hmm:

The European Golden Boot race has dried up somewhat since the new year, when you consider the way Ronaldo/Saurez/Costa were going a few months back:

I caught Huntelaar's man of the match flowers that he threw into the Newcastle end over there  :coolsmiley: :rose:

Liked the FA Cup Winner v 4th place for CL spot if the FA Cup Winner isn't already qualified for the CL anyways as they're used to being. Would make the FA Cup even bigger than it already is.

Not sure if I agree with scrapping replays, as the whole point of a cup run for lower league teams is the money it brings and this often from them earning a replay away at a Premier League team or whatever. Perhaps a system where teams can agree before the fixture to bin off the replay if it's mutually sought to do so?

All lower league teams to have 3rd round games played at home? Similar to Germany.

Doubt that'd go down well. Big clubs losing out on a lot of revenue from home games...
