Javi Martinez out for 6 months.

Big loss for Bayern. They'll need another CB, rumours of Benatia did the round earlier. Dante and Boateng are the only CBs at the moment.

Arsenal defend policy of declaring attendances based on tickets sold as study shows actual crowds at Emirates Stadium in 2013/14 season were 6,550 lower

Average attendance of 53,788 at the 60,338-capacity ground for all Arsenal matches last season

I gather the majority of clubs report gate counts? Quite a poor record for a club of Arse's stature. Ticket's too expensive for even affluent Londoners?

It's strange that places are now using sold tickets as the number for attendance when counting how many people actually attend is easier than it ever has been thanks to barcode scanning.

Pleasantly surprised by the outcome again. Seems like a logical outcome, really.

Just glad we don't have to put up with him in the Prem any longer.

FIFA can ban Suárez from the competitions they or associated FAs organize, it's their prerogative, but they are absolutely nobody to bar him from training with his team. Regular courts would have had a field day with this.

Allowed to train with Barca but otherwise ban remains.

Thought that might happen, not being allowed to train was a bit OTT.

Seems like he can play in friendlies too(for international as well)

Well that shouldn't be allowed. Uruguay & Barca will just end up playing 100 friendlies between now and the end of his ban.

Do agree. Not got a problem with the training part, but the friendlies part could be an issue.
