What's the reason for Leon being predominantly Barca fans ?

No idea

Former Spanish president Zapatero hails from that region and was a Barça fan. They don't have any established club in the region, not a single club from the province plays in the top two Spanish divisions. I can only guess at some sort of rejection of Madrid because of regional identity. Madrid are the quintessential Castillian club, and León see themselves as non-Castillian.

It's an odd one like.

Here's the UK's based on viewing figures. There's a Twitter version but that doesn't seem right because it's almost entirely Liverpool fans.

Lewis and Harris, very odd  I'd probably go with that being not true.

There's a kind of Leicester/Scotland link due to the nearby town of Corby, which became known as "Little Scotland" because it was full of Scottish migrants who travelled down to work in its steelworks.  Possibly a load of Outer Hebrides folk went down there to work, started following them and then moved back?

Edit: Actually it's a good hour and a half away from Leicester but it's the closest half decent team.

The College Dropout

Wonder if it's going to change in the UK. There's a mini-generation of people around my age, in London, who predominately support Arsenal. They grew up on the Invincibles. Winning the PL every other year.

How have Chelsea taken northern Scotland?

Would be interesting to see the relative population sizes.

To me it is, I'm Spanish :p

Are the big two Scottish clubs restricted to Glasgow?

Pretty much. People from Glasgow support teams from Glasgow generally. Up North there's a serious amount of oil workers so maybe that's part of the reason. Scottish football isn't on TV much any more so that also helps too.

We don't have an issue with Scottish people supporting Scottish teams outside of their home area as there's absolutely no glory to be hunted  people usually either support some s**** Scottish home team or like Liverpool or Brazil or something. Mostly Man Utd, Liverpool, Arsenal.

Anyone remotely Irish in any way will rabidly support Celtic though. Weird folk.

 You say that like they weren't founded by an Irishman or started with a team full of Irish immigrants.

Hate what Celtic have become. So grim.

Celtic fans are the most annoying folk in the land. It's like they are fighting oppression or something. Exactly like SNP supporters. Just all annoying, holier-than-thou bellends.

Almost all of my mates have a Scottish team that they support. Whilst my Celtic supporting mate has just got tickets to see Celtic v Ajax, I'm going up on Saturday to watch Rangers v Livingston

Disco hates the Irish. [emoji38] I could feel his hatred while he sipped on his pint in Popworld.

He's absolutely obsessed [emoji38] Every time anybody brings Ireland up he says how shit it is despite probably never being in Ireland [emoji38]

I'm messing about him and all. He was sound IRL. Handles his drink like a cheerleader mind. Maybe he's jealous that the Irish can stomach three or more pints.

You don't need to have been somewhere to rightly know it's shit. I bet you're in no hurry to go to Chad, Haiti or Yemen but I bet you're fairly safe in the assumption that they're not good, just like Ireland.

TBF to give Irish people credit, fucking their pointless language off in order for a proper one was a good move.
