Leicester expected to sign Nampalys Mendy from Nice for 10million Euros on Monday. Sounds a lot like Kante

They're also planning to bid £10mil for Michael Keane from Burnley

The fees this summer are quite clearly going to be insane. That price for Troy Deeney, should he go, could well set the tone. Am absolutely obscene amount of money for a bog standard, decent-enough striker who's only had one year in the league.

Leicester bid 25m for Deeney. Laughable.

It is but it's the explosion of money in our game. As daft as that price is the money Leicester have/will be getting means it's just a dent in their transfer budget/finances.

If they're going for that sort of striker, they should give West Ham £13-15m for Sakho.

Deeney is a much better all round striker that is really good at setting his partner up, as well as scoring goals. £25 million is a bit silly though. £18 million max.

Big wages probably, but Bony and Benteke would be 25M or less, if that's what Deeney costs.

With regular games in a team with Mahrez and Albrighton, either would be a good shout for 15, enough for top half dozen scorers most seasons.

Both are young enough to return to previous form. Bony only played about 12 games' worth of minutes last season.

I'd be just as happy signing Deeney as Bony or Benteke, probably more.

Both are far better than Deeney.

They should consider showing it for a few games.

Deeney had a good half a season and then faded massively, nothing more, nothing less.

Benteke wasn't a Rodgers signing and clearly doesn't fit into Klopps plans but he's proven himself before Liverpool and I'm certain that he'll do it again if he leaves this summer.

They both played far better for Villa and Swansea than Deeney did for Watford

Benteke is definitely a better option ,imo but I have a very low opinion of Bony currently. Last season it seemed as though he had no interest and may have seen his physical gifts diminish. I don't know why Pellegrini continued playing him at all, tbh. I can see him being a massively expensive flop for some mid-table team.

Think they're looking to upgrade Vardy's partner. Deeney looked realy good in a partnership last season, albeit it they dropped off towards the end of the season.

Not sure Benteke or Bony would be as good in a two man partnership with Vardy. Deeney is better linking up with another striker than those two. he did some great work setting up Ighalo early on in the season, and was a big part of Ighalo's hot start.

Not sure I'd be certain of the same type of play from Benteke and Bony. As lone front men though, yeah, both better options.

N´Golo Kanté has emerged as a target for Real Madrid. The France midfielder has been offered to the Liga giants and is being considered to provide competition for Casemiro, whose stellar season has made the Brazilian a certain starter under Zinedine Zidane.

[...]

Another attractive part of the deal is that Kanté reportedly has a minimum release clause of 25.5 million euros
