Looking at the team he's basically gone with plan of two wingers whipping in crosses to two strikers and chose Riviere for his height.

I mean more comparatively.

Ridiculous team all round.

Wow, what depth and insight! Thanks... have really opened my eyes ;)

Well he's not wrong.  You selected Jonas, Obertan and the injured Cabella and left out our top scorer.  Pardewesque.

Just so you undertsand my reasoning:

Jonas in the middle because only other options are raylor or anita, he's no use on the wing but is an intelligent player and knows how to use ball. Don't like anita anymore!

Obertan because we completely lack pace. He looked good before his injury and looked good apart from his mistake last week.

Didn't know Cabella was injured and prefer Ayoze to Cisse (who looks like he has lost a yard of pace after knee op).

Cheers ;)

Tiotes Witch Doctor

The only thing suprising about that lineup is that he hasn't attempted to squeeze Ryan Taylor in there, bet he would have started him over Abeid if he didn't think the fans would absolutely slate him for it.

Is perez on bench? As we have nowt to play for it's probably a good idea to give him a rest, burnout could come if not...

We have nowt to play for, so lets rest him for the next couple of games where we also have nowt to play for.

If abeid and sissoko play to their best in the middle it's actually a not bad line up...

It is with Rivs kicking every ball out for a goal kick.

I despise Aston Villa, but want to see us get well and truly torn apart today.

Just can't get out of that mind set.

Apart from Riviere for Perez, it's the same team I'd have picked from what's available. To be fair, Perez has looked tired recently. He may be more effective coming on as a sub. At least Riviere isn't playing up front on his own. Obertan and Riviere at least add some much needed pace to our attack.
