My only question is, I don't get how they have another £35 million to spend under PSR rules, thought they'd be cutting it fine too.

They made over 40 I think selling Mangala and a defender who’s name I can’t spell.

Anderson has no value on our books, £35m can conservatively allow for £100m+ of spending in PSR terms this season.  Great deal for us.

Yeah, also this outlay for Anderson isn't going to really impact them at all on this year's PSR number.

It'll be future years where they'll have to pay that off, while the incoming funds all count as one big chunk this year.

Cannot wait for the documentary on PSR in a year or two. This is some mind-boggling stuff.

If Anderson is worth 35m, Isak is worth 500m easy.

What? How the hell did we pull 35 million out of them?

Its still a bit bitter sweet, guess it always is selling young local players, but i suppose needs must

First goal against us next season would be one of those typical football things

Good look to him, it’s a shame that we have to sell a local lad to satisfy PSR but that’s the world we’re in.

it’ll be interesting to see how this affects the number of local players staying at their home clubs going forward, pure profit is the statement of choice now.

More bad, cold fallout from these rules is academies openly being seen as farms to fund spending rather than a route to that clubs first team which would negate having to spend.

I’m no Rachel Riley but if we get rid of longstaff as well then that’s like a billion pounds we have to spend

We would have needed to sell him after 30th June for that to be the case

It's a rolling three years, so we'll still feel the benefit of any profit. Well, until the new rules come in.

True, but ultimately you're still chasing the shortfall.  And you're right re new rules of course :)
