Whole article sounds like it was written by a fan desperate to believe anything good.

State of Mike Ashley selling us for half of that. Clueless.

State of MA making the world believe we were worth no more than that.

Owners must have trebled their investment in 18months going off Evertons valuation.

Does that mean their debts are paid off and they can go on a Chelsea style spree ?

(I know not Chelsea style figures but going from we can't due to FFP to splurge).

I thought the dodgy cunt was looking for investors rather than selling...

Would be surprised if this is true and ends up coming off like

Are 777 the hedge fund that have absolutely fucked Hertha into the ground?

Edit: No, turns out they own them but their previous owner did the damage

Dr.Spaceman

They're the group that's completely fucked the British Basketball League, so I wish nothing but more pain on that rabid manchild fanbase of theirs.

I know you lot seem to hate them like but Everton are a pretty big club.

Their revenue is around the same as ours, and we’ve been commercially sabotaged for over a decade, and they’re facing FFP issues. I’m not sure how the £600m would make sense, but if it’s a leveraged buyout it might be plausible.

The owners of the San Diego MLS expansion team that’s set to be announced today have paid $500m for their entry fee, and they are not even going to have their own stadium (at least not initially).

Nowt to do with football, other than that's the only reason I listen to it, but had anyone heard that advert for Talkshite on Talkshite featuring it's own content?

Surely the value of Everton will crash if they are relegated? £600 million, FFS. ???

Especially with their financial situation. Honestly think I’d rather buy one if the Sheffield clubs.

why would anybody take over the club until they know the outcome of the financial fair play investigation?

They are, but their economy has not been good lately. Maybe the new stadium has something to do with it?

Just a question to throw out there without thinking it through.

Do you think teams like Brighton who play it around at the back and use their 'keeper as the extra man, could come undone if the opposition start also putting someone on their 'keeper?

Like I said, I haven't thought it through, just thinking out loud really.

We caused Brighton all sorts of bother with a high press. They lost the ball multiple times in their own third but we were disgustingly wasteful and never made anything of it. I couldn't believe the chances they gave us. Given the form your strikers are in I think you'll be much more clinical and I think you will win quite comfortably tonight.

Genuine observation.

I'm sorry, I have a girlfriend.

They did similar against Arsenal and were incredibly risky, I just wonder whether it's a case of them playing with fire or all part of their plan. It'll be interesting to see whether like you say we can take our chances (something despite having a brilliant season we've been very guilty of) or whether Howe will go more for something nearer to what Everton did and hit them fast and hard on the break, which is what we did to Man City when they came up here.
