I reckon it was 'cause he had a brilliant season, got picked for England ahead of Grealish, but only played about 2 minutes the whole tournament, and didn't even get picked for games everyone was saying he should've been in.

 

Southgate really knocked the lads confidence.

 

Plus, nearly all the English wingers had a patchy season – Palmer, Foden, the lot.

 

He'll be back to his best next season after a summer break. We definitely shouldn't sell him, IMO.
