ujpest doza Posted January 10, 2007 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Wasn't Smith just fortunate to takeover when Souness had (its true honest) built up the best Rangers side for years and Celtic were shit so they had no competition? Not like he built the side himself. Reminds me a bit of Howard kendall going back to Everton, great the first time and then pretty good in Spain but garbage when he went back to Everton to try and recreate what he had the first time around.
