It's All Change For Sky Sports

Recommended Posts

YOU'RE ON SKY SPORTS - the popular phone-in programme hosted by Gary Newbon - is switching to Saturdays.

The show will air in the slot previously occupied by La Liga and will also go out on Wednesday nights.

Dave Jones is the new face of Sky's Saturday Night Football, their Championship action, while Claire Tomlinson replaces Rob McCaffrey on the Goals on Sunday sofa and Andy Goldstein comes in for Tim Lovejoy at Soccer AM

Didnt realise they had lost La Liga or is it pointless now Becks is not playing in it?

Lovejoy & Mcaffrey = GONE

they were showing La Liga well before beckham was there, shame if it's not on anymore.  Not as good as Football Italia on Sunday afternoons on C4

Fair point but it recent times Beckham had either rightly or wrongly dominated the chatter between presenters & guests

Soccer AM should have been scrapped years ago.

AS Dave says a quick google search shows SKY are still showing La Liga, cant belive The People got it wrong

The Spanish Primera Liga signed three new TV deals with UK pay TV broadcaster British Sky Broadcasting, with German cable consortium Arena and with Talpa TV in the Netherlands.

Under BSkyB’s new deal Sky Sports will broadcast at least two matches from each week of each campaign and coverage will include a number of double-headers and a regular magazine show, Revista de la Liga.

La Liga is still on Sky.

I never liked McCaffrey's face. Kamara is a ledge though.

Agree with all of that.

Just a shame they can't involve that lampard loving, liverpool/pompey sucking wanker, Jamie Redknapp in their change programme.
